Chamber Business:
Announcement: For
several years the VCDC
and the City of Vermillion, along with a few
contributing
businesses, have been able
to fully fund the community’s annual 4th of
July
festivities
in
Barstow Park. With
rising costs and fewer
donations over the past
two years we need to
seek additional funding
sources in order to offer
this event to the community. Our goal is to
raise an additional
$4,000 so we really
need your assistance.
Volunteers have been
approaching businesses
with canisters to place
at the register to help
raise the necessary
funding. If you have
not yet been approached by volunteers
and are willing to have
a canister placed in
your business, please
contact the VCDC of?ce
(624-5571) and we will
deliver one. Also, if
your business is willing
to make a separate contribution to the celebration it would be greatly
appreciated.
