The sound of music
was alive in Vermillion last
week, when the 63rd
annual USD Summer
Music Camp took place
from July 13-18.
The grand finale
concerts were held last
Thursday and Friday.
The first concert took
place Thursday at 7 p.m.
in Aalfs Auditorium and
featured the following
groups: The Advance
Percussion Ensemble,
directed by Darin Wadley;
the Junior Jazz Band,
directed by Erik Mahon;
the Senior Jazz Band II,
directed by Ryan Meyer;
the Senior Jazz Band I,
directed by Dr. Rolf Olson;
and the Junior Show
Choir, Combined Show
Choir and Senior Show
Choir, directed by Chris
Miller and choreographed

The third concert was
held Friday at 7 p.m. in

featured Orchestra,

Holdhusen; Beginning
Band, directed by Bethany
Amundson; Junior Band,
