1. The golden rays of the setting sun reflect off the Missouri River in
this recent scene taken near the boat landing at Clay County Park. The
end of Daylight Savings Time Nov. 6 means darkness now descends an
hour earlier than before.
2. Senior Lizz Hoffman is barely visible as she competes in the 50
meter freestyle during a recent swim meet hosted by the University of
South Dakota. Hoffman and the South Dakota 400 freestyle relay set
school records as the Coyote women?s swimming and diving team
recorded a 138-105 win over Northern Iowa in a dual Saturday, Nov. 5 at
the DakotaDome pool in Vermillion.
3. Vermillion Tanager Beth Szymonski spikes the ball during District
8A volleyball action held in the Vermillion High School gymnasium
earlier this month. Beresford defeated Vermillion in the first round of the
tournament, ending the Tanagers? season.
