Tuesday, January 29, 2013 - With Our Students
• SHES - “100 Day” Students will dress like they are 100 years
old to celebrate the 100th day of school. This will honor those people who have had the most time to live their faith, to love and praise
God, and to seek academic success; The students will tally how many
pages can be read as a school in 100 minutes of time while enjoying
100’s of snacks brought by 100’s of students.
• SHMS - Dress Day: Pajamas; Free Read Day in houses and read
with vocation guest 1-2 p.m.; 8th Grade Bake Sale and juice throughout reading time.
Wednesday, January 30, 2013 - Students will wear their matching Catholic
Schools Week T-shirts
• SHES - Students will wear their matching Catholic Schools Week
T-shirts; “All School Mass” 8:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Church.
• SHMS - Dress Day: Catholic Schools Week shirts; All School
Mass 8:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Church (drop off there).
• SHES and SHMS students will work together until 11:45 a.m.
to create pillowcases for the “Wounded Warrior” project.
Thursday, January 31, 2013 - With Our Vocations
• SHES - Students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students; The religious from the Yankton Community will be invited to
play board games or bingo followed by lunch; Drive Thru Donuts.
• SHMS - Dress Day: Western/Country; Drive Thru Donuts Parents may drive thru and pick up a donut after dropping off for
school at either site (follow signs); Walking Rosary throughout the day
with vocation guests.
Friday, February 1, 2013 - With Our Faculty, Staff & Volunteers
• SHES - Students dress in their favorite Sacred Heart School
wear to show their school spirit; Volunteer recognition; Staff luncheon.
• SHMS - Dress Day: Crazy Hats, Socks and Neon; Bible Bowling
8:15-11:45 a.m. (drop off there).
