Friday, January 25, 2013 • We will be attending Mass with Bishop Swain in Sioux Falls at the Elmen Center at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 “St. Agnes School Raise the Standards: In Our Parish” • Please join us in our celebration of Catholic Schools Week in our parish by attending our 10:30 a.m. All-School Mass. Kindergarten-fifth grade students will be participating in the liturgy. • The Ham Dinner will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Meal Tickets are $7 adults, $4 students, 3 years and younger eat free. Tickets are available at the door. • The bidding for our Time, Talent & Treasure Silent Auction will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 27th at 12:30 p.m. The verbal auction will begin at 12:00 noon. We will be auctioning many great goods and services from the parishioners and parents. Monday, January 28, 2013 “St. Agnes School Raise the Standards: In Our Community” • Pajama Day • Morning Gathering - We will do a morning gathering in the gym each day at 8:35. We will say prayers, do a flag salute and sing a song or two. • Movie in the gym at 1:00. • During the week of each classroom will be participating in different service projects. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 “St. Agnes School Raise the Standards: In Our Students” • Mismatched/Wacky Hair Day • Family Picnic during Lunchtime - Families are invited to come in and eat lunch with us. If you would like to have a school lunch, please call the school at (624-4144) by Monday, Jan. 28th, to order your cheeseburger or hotdog. An adult lunch is $3.30. • Student Talent Show at 12:45 p.m. following lunch in the gym. All proceeds will be donated to the Vermillion Food Pantry and the Vermillion Backpack Program. The St. Agnes School kindergarten children enjoy throwing leaves in the air during their visit to Cotton Park in the fall as part of their study of the seasons of the year.
