The Vermillion Area Community Foundation is accepting proposals for projects to improve our community. While funds available are limited we can fully fund small one time requests or partially fund larger projects. Your annual donations to our Foundation will provide us with increasing funds each year for worthwhile projects. Please continue to remember the Dakota Senior Meal Progra.m. Foundation seeks members: The ClayUnion Foundation which serves as a mentoring program for youth 5-17 years old, is actively seeking new members and adult volunteers throughout Clay and Union County. There are two boys and two girls seeking an adult mentor in Elk Point, and volunteers are needed to make the matches. Volunteers spend two hours/week with their match; 134 matches have been made since the program began in 1997.
