Indian Law Symposium at USD Examines
Indian Child Welfare Act
The Native American Law Student
Association (NALSA) at the University of South Dakota School of Law
will hold its Indian law symposium
March 30-31 entitled “The Indian
Child Welfare Act: Old and New Challenges.”
The free event in the law school
courtroom is open to the public. The
mission of the USD NALSA chapter
is to provide for the professional
advancement of its members; to
promote legal education of Native
Americans and other minorities;
and to create an understanding and
interest in issues affecting Native
Americans and other minorities.
Every other year, since 1990, NALSA
sponsors the symposium that aims
to promote awareness of issues in
Indian Country.

Position: Quality Tech IV - Entry level - Hourly
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Prior Manufacturing experience desireable
Technical Knowledge: Must have good computer skills able to run several
operating systems: word, excel, outlook etc.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Interprets engineering drawings, aluminum standards, and data publications.
• Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests
products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, appearance, and
mechanical or chemical characteristics (temper, yield and tensile, elongation),
using appropriate testing tools and equipment.
• Records test and/or audit data in appropriate format as specified.
• Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing
standards.
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to
achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Must be capable of working a 4 days on 4 days off (12) hours a day shift schedule
with overtime, must be able to pass a Company physical and drug test. Must be
reliable and willing to work your way to the top. These positions are full time.
