The VDCA opened the newly renovated and renamed, “Red Steakhouse Auditorium” to the public for the first showings on January 13th since its closing for renovation last September. The auditorium has stadium seating, new sound and projection, screen, lighting and egress. Generous donations and in-kind support from Masaba, Vermillion Chamber, Rotary, Community Foundation, Dakota Hospital Foundation, Sanford, First Bank and Trust, the University of South Dakota and so many individual donors have made this major leap possible. The Coyote Twin is Vermillion’s community movie theater. First-run and specialty films are shown Tuesday through Sunday and are open for special bookings on Monday. Coyote Twin Theatre is located at 10 E. Main Street. Hours of operation are from 12:30pm – 12am Friday through Sunday and 6:30pm – 12am Tuesday through Thursday.
