HURON, S.D. –The
South Dakota State Fair
is seeking interested
artists and authors to be
showcased during the fair
in the Arts and Education
Building.
Featured artists and
authors can meet the
public and display their
works of literature or
art with no exhibitor’s
fee. Participants are
asked only for a one day
commitment and are
given an allotted time slot
and display area.
Each artist or
author will have the
opportunity to interact

with fairgoers on an
individual basis and may
also opt to conduct a
scheduled presentation
or demonstration. The
scheduled presentations
will be listed in the fair
schedule and advertised
on the daily agenda for
the building.
A goal of the Arts
and Education Building
is to showcase South
Dakota talent. Featuring
artists and authors in
the building helps to
accomplish that.

Dakota State Fair will
run from Thursday,

The Citizens of the Township of Vermillion in the
County of Clay, South Dakota, and who are qualified
to vote at Township elections, are hereby notified
that the Annual Township Meeting for
said Township will be held at
515 High Street, Vermillion, SD in said Township, on
TUESDAY, the 3rd day of March 2020, at 7:00 pm,
for the following purposes:
To elect one Supervisor for the term of three years;
one Township Clerk, one Treasurer, each for the term of
one year; and one Constable for the term of two years;
and to conduct any other business proper to be
done at said meeting when convened.
Inclement weather reschedule date of March 10, 2020.
