She also has put in a

She decided to stop
teaching on a full-time
basis to devote more
time to family. This fall,
however, with the
Schuhs’ youngest turning
8-years-old, Mary
decided it was time to
pursue the music
position available at St.
Agnes School.
“I saw the job listed in
the paper, and I applied.

extra work for the St.
Agnes teaching staff.
“They just moved
things around so that the
rehearsals would fit in
with their class
schedules,” she said, “and
that’s really hard for
them (the teachers).
They don’t act like it is
hard, but I really think it
is, and it is so great that
they are so supportive.
“The teachers know
that this is important,
and they know that the
kids wanted to do a good
job,” Mary said. “So, it
was a total team effort.”
She loves working

“They just have so
much energy, and they
are so positive,” Mary
said. “It just uplifts you,
and they work so hard
for you to be sure to put
on a good performance.
It is all about them.”
