Announcements: Board members needed: The Clay-Union Foundation matches youth age 5-17 with qualified and screened adult volunteers. The program would like to add at least two more USD students from the school of law, or communications majors to its board of directors. The board determines local fun functions, helps raise funds, and determines long term goals. For more information on being a board member, joining as an adult mentor, or signing up a youth, please contact John Gille at (605) 421-5050 or e-mail jgillerrsd60@yahoo.com. The program is funded in part by the United Way of Vermillion, and local donors. Members of Fraternal Order of Police in Clay County have worked with the community to insure a safe Dakota Days Celebration. One way to improve the D-Days experience is to place porta-potties in the downtown area. To accomplish this, members of the Order are asking downtown Vermillion businesses for cash donations to put five porta-potties in downtown Vermillion for D-Days weekend. The cost is just under $900. Donations can be delivered or mailed to Matt Betzen, Vermillion FOP Treasurer, 15 N. Washington, Vermillion. 6 3 ????3???3???36??????? 3 ???3?37??????34?3?3???35??????????3?????3???????? 60 th Everyone is invited • Open House Anniversary Celebration For Maurice & Ann Severson Sunday, October 13th, 2013 1-4pm at the Holiday Inn, Vermillion (use south entrance) Wishing our area farmers a safe & bountiful harvest Cards may be sent to: 1714 Baylor, Vermillion, SD 57069 The couple requests no gifts TALLEST CORN STALK CONTEST BE SMART.
