The information was unclear as to when and where the alleged events occurred. The vehicle was pushed out of the lane of travel. 03/20/14 22:04 – Two separate vehicles were stopped in the same area within a few minutes and the drivers were cited for speeding at 70 mph in the 55 mph zone on University Road north of Vermillion. 03/21/14 07:34 – An inmate was transported from the state penitentiary to court in Vermillion for a hearing and then returned to the penitentiary. 03/21/14 17:42 – A caller reported a moped abandoned along a rural road. A deputy responded and located the owner who indicated it had run out of gas. The owner picked it up. Total Records: 27 she believed her neighbor was peeking at her through her doorjamb. The neighbor was confronted and she denied the accusation. 03/19/14 16:22 – A caller reported a vehicle was a traffic hazard in Wakonda. A deputy responded and spoke to the owner who was resolving an issue with another vehicle. The problem was resolved in a short time. 03/19/14 17:59 – A man who was testing as a participant on the 24/7 Sobriety Program was found to be wanted in Yankton County. The man was arrested and booked into jail. 03/19/14 22:14 – A vehicle was observed speeding on 306th Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was cited for the offense. 03/20/14 02:27 – A deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call from a Burbank residence. The resident had told a dispatcher he was attempting an overseas call. There was no answer when the deputy checked the residence.
