It was found that the caller and the parent were in a child custody dispute. No action was taken except to verify the child was well and that no assistance was needed. 07/28/14 17:08 - A deputy responded to a medical emergency in Wakonda. 07/29/14 05:49 - At the request of the Yankton Police, a deputy responded to Wakonda to attempt to locate the mother of a teenager who had been arrested in Yankton. The mother was not located. 07/29/14 13:04 Deputies stopped a vehicle being driven by a man who was attempting to avoid the service of a protection order. The order was served and it was found the man had warrants from Clay and Yankton Counties and Woodbury County, Iowa.
