Students were able to submit their project logs and record books to their FFA Advisor/4-H Leaders during the contest period which began July 1, 2015 and ended October 15, 2015. Contest winners were those entrants determined to have the best kept logs or records books. Two IPAD Minis were given to students in Clay County, SD; Yankton County, SD; Knox County, NE; Cedar County, NE; and Dixon County, NE. Funds were raised through an inhouse campaign amongst the staff throughout the medical center. At the Campaign Kick Off held in August, Collier-Wise shared information with staff regarding all the organizations that benefit from United Way funding and the impact these dollars make within the community. Olson, chair for the Sanford Vermillion United Way campaign set several goals including a total campaign of $18,601 and 90 employee donations. The campaign well exceeded goal and employee participation came very close with 87 pledges. “We continue to encourage United Way pledges from staff.
