10 Broadcaster Press VCT Auditions For ‘Joseph’ Scheduled VERMILLION — Vermillion Community Theatre announces auditions for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” will be held Sunday, May 6, at 6 p.m. at the Knutson Theatre in the Fine Arts Building at the University of South Dakota, and Friday, May 11, at 6 p.m. at the Vermillion High School Commons at 1001 E. Main Street in Vermillion. This production takes a large cast and has parts for actors at least 7 years old. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is a musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story is based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis. This musical was selected because it is family-friendly, has a large cast and is technically challenging. Jo Ne- smith will be directing this production with Anthony Burbach as musical director and Kathrine Rose Reimler choreographing. Audition forms, rehearsal schedules, conflict sheets and other information can be found on the website: vermillioncommunitytheatre.org. Actors that audition should know that the material is almost entirely singing, there is little spoken dialogue. All actors should come prepared to be measured and photographed. Call backs, if needed, will be at 8 p.m. on May 11. Rehearsals will begin Sunday, June 10. Performances will be July 20-23 at Thomas H. Craig Center for Performing Arts at Vermillion High School in Vermillion. These changes included a new signup for 2018 which began April 9, 2018 and will end on June 1, 2018. Changes to the Milk Protection Program include the following: •Revised premium costs for Tier 1 levels •Tier 1 volume was increased from 4 to 5 million pounds •Indemnities are now determined monthly •There is an exemption for the administrative fee for limited resource, beginning, veteran, and disadvantaged producers. Dairy operators who were enrolled previous to 2018 and paid the administrative fee may request a refund if they qualify for this exemption.
