Katrina Heles
Katrina Heles is senior on the Vermillion girls’ tennis team.
“My favorite thing about tennis is during matches when
I can get to know my opponent better,” said Heles.
“Matches are also when I learn the most skills. Of course,
the van rides are also up there with my favorite parts.”
Heles stays busy with school activities. She is involved
in show choir, National Honor Society, football and
basketball cheerleading, and managing gymnastics.
She is also active outside of school. Heles is in 4-H,
competes in pageants, and serves and decorates
cakes at Café Brule and Cakes by Monica.
“I keep myself pretty busy with school, work, and
extracurricular activities,” said Heles. “I fill in empty
gaps of time in my day spending time with friends,
family, and my cats Milk-dud and Marvin.”
