She is also involved with the color guard for the marching band, track & field, and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). Outside of school activities, Franken participates in drag racing and swimming. “I enjoy working on our ‘68 Chevelle drag car with my dad,” said Franken. “But mostly, I love spending time with my best friend Ray and tending our huge garden spring through fall.”
