Foundation seeks members:

mentors in Elk Point and
Jefferson. A 13-year-old boy
is waiting for a male
volunteer in Elk Point, and a
12-year-old near Jefferson is
also hoping to find a male
match. They have been
waiting since May, and
would like to match soon.
The program also has an
adult male mentor who is
ready to match in Vermillion,
and would like to locate a
male youth to spend time
with him. Youths from age 617 are eligible to join the
program, and volunteers
must be 18 years old to be a
mentor. An inquiry was also
made seeking AfricanAmerican volunteers in
Vermillion, to match with
youth 10, 8 and 5 years old.
