Alix had five doubles, a triple, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored. While Alix has spent much of her varsity career behind the plate, Bailey started her career at second. “We lost a few seniors, and I was moved to the outfield,” Bailey said. “I fell in love with it.” Bailey is a natural in the outfield, according to Alix. “Bailey can read the ball well,” Alix said. “She can tell people where to be.” Gerstner Oil Co. She has more power in her hits than I do.” While the two love playing softball, neither is putting much focus into playing beyond this season. “I’m not thinking about it,” Alix said of playing college IRENE-WAKONDA EAGLES Volleyball (Home Games In Wakonda) 8/22.....................................................Parker 8/24..............................................at Scotland 8/29.................................................
