July 4 Celebration: The Vermillion community is preparing for its annual July 4 Celebration with a call for donors, volunteers, and vendors. This popular event at Barstow Park from 6 p.m. to dusk includes music by C&K Entertainment, the inflatables activity area for kids (w/$5 wristband), food booths, merchandise booths, the Eagles Beer Garden, Annual Hy-Vee Hot Dog Eating Contest and a spectacular fireworks display by Fireworks Unlimited.
